Learning through play is a term used in education and psychology to describe how a child can learn to make sense of the world around them. Through play children can develop social and cognitive skills, mature emotionally, and gain the self confidence required to engage in new experiences and environments. Key ways that young children learn include playing, being with other people, being active, exploring and new experiences, talking to themselves, communication with others, meeting physical and mental challenges, being shown how to do new things, practicing and repeating skills and having fun.

CONTEXTUALIZATION OF AN ENGLISH LEARNING IN A SPECIFIC CONTEXT One of the most feared problems of teachers of English as a new language, the difficulty of creating in students the need to learn new vocabulary is taught and this is particularly difficult when it comes to students at an early age due in large part because children do not have the desire to learn new vocabulary, as they consider it difficult, and tedious, this need to learn new vocabulary, it is imperative, because it is known that a student who has a lot of vocabulary, have a greater chance to learn a new language, which in this case is English. Teachers spend much of their time designing materials suitable for the age of students for teaching new vocabulary, however, I have experienced that when students are in constant influence of the new language, learning is more practical and effective. In the case of an earlier age, and children in preschool age, a strategy that can be helpful to teach a new language, is ultimately the game. Children at play down their defenses and learning alerts and receive information more effectively, and thus learning a new language or any topic can really improve.
